Cookie policy & settings

Cookies you control
FreeSafeList uses first-party cookies. Essential cookies provide your requested account, security and referral functions. Optional analytics starts only after you choose Accept analytics. Accepting membership terms or email advertising is not consent to optional analytics. You can use the service after rejecting it.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| fsl_session | Essential: secure sign-in, CSRF protection, referral invitation, form/session state and reward checks | Browser session; server session expiration also applies |
| fsl_consent | Essential preference: remembers yes/no for optional analytics | 180 days |
| fsl_visitor | Optional: random first-party browser identifier for consented journeys | 90 days from creation |
Change your choice
Current optional analytics setting: Not chosen — off.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, optional analytics remains off. Withdrawing deletes optional records linked to the current browser ID and expires that cookie. If you previously cleared cookies or used another device, contact support to locate account-linked records. Essential operational records remain subject to the Privacy Policy.
What is measured
Consented analytics measures page categories, public campaign labels, referral source hostnames, random browser IDs, signed-in member IDs, link/copy interactions, scroll milestones, visible-page engagement and selected account conversion events. It excludes passwords, form text, private link tokens, full IP addresses and full referrer URLs. Detailed events are removed after 90 days. Identifier-free server traffic counters last 365 days. We do not use third-party analytics pixels, fingerprinting, session replay or cross-site advertising profiles.
Outside content and browser settings
Member advertisements open independent websites, and optional configured network advertising or Gravatar images may contact external providers. These providers control their own cookies and privacy policies; our setting controls FreeSafeList’s optional analytics only. You may block external cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies can prevent sign-in, referrals or reward checks from working. Read our Privacy Policy or contact support for help.
